Audits of recyclers of waste electrical and electronic equipment (since 2017)

Audit of around 40 dismantling facilities for e-waste in French and German-speaking Switzerland (every two years, for SENS and Swico) and of four recyclers (every year, for SENS) according to the CENELEC serie of standards EN 50625-1 and according to the technical guidelines of the SENS Foundation and Swico Recycling.  Member of the technical commission of SENS and Swico Recycling.

Review of medical waste management in the canton of Geneva (2018-2023)

Assessment and audit of the management of special waste from medical analysis laboratories, clinics, retirement homes, pharmacies, doctors and veterinarians for the Geology, Soil and Waste Department (GESDEC) of the State of Geneva, drafting of information sheets on the management of medical waste and support for compliance with the Ordinance on the movement of waste (OMoD).

Status report and support for the sustainability of a Geneva company (2022)

Sustainability status report and support for the implementation of a sustainability policy for a Geneva company within the framework of the "Diagnosis-Action" support programme for Geneva companies of the Economic Development Department, Research and Innovation (DG DERI).

Contribution to the drafting of the "Toolbox for sustainable procurement in Switzerland" (2020-2024)

Drafting of several chapters of the Toolbox, a guide for public procurers currently being published on www.pap.swiss, in particular the chapter on sustainable procurement methodology, financed by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).

Training on sustainable procurement for the City of Renens' procurement officers (2021)

4-hour training course for procurement officers of the City of Renens (Vaud - Switzerland) on the methodology and implementation of sustainable procurement within the municipality.

 

Assessment of the PCB capacitors value chain in the canton of Geneva (2019 -2021)

Inventory and recommendations concerning the collection and treatment of transformers and capacitors likely to contain PCBs on building sites, and audits of Geneva scrap metal dealers to assess the quality of scrap metal, for the Geology, Soil and Waste Department (GESDEC) of the State of Geneva.

Trainings for the Pusch Foundation - environmental protection course for civil servants in Schwarzsee on the topics of sustainable development, environmental law, climate change, renewable energy and ecological footprint.

Advice and training on e-waste recycling (2017-2018)

Course and coaching for e-waste recyclers in Egypt and Egyptian auditors, a project subcontracted by Sofies and funded by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) as part of the Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) programme.

 

Advice on the environment in the consumer field (2017)

Support to the Fédération romande des consommateurs (FRC) on environmental issues: media monitoring, follow-up of parliamentary work and drafting of position papers to defend consumers' rights.

Preparation for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management certification (2017-2022)

Support to Ecotec Environnement SA for the implementation of the quality and environmental management system (policy, objectives, indicators, internal audits, management review, etc.), then follow-up for the renewal of the certification.

Preparation for the upgrade to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications (2018-2019)
